MULTIMEDIA COORDINATOR

In my current role as a Multimedia Coordinator, I have the opportunity to foster the community within SFU’s Faculty of Applied Sciences through my work. This involves organizing and supporting student engagement and recruitment initiatives, designing digital and print promotional materials, managing websites, and creating social media content.

VIDEO EDITOR

From October 2021 to August 2022, I worked as a video editor in the production department of Market One Media Group. I followed strict brand guidelines and templates to meet the brands’ needs for various content including social media clips, corporate videos, TV advertisements, and long form interviews. I also assisted in on-location filming of various conferences including PDAC 2022 in Toronto and CEM 2022 in Whistler.

DIGITAL MEDIA ASSISTANT

My involvement with SFU Athletics started from my first year of university. From being a camera operator to being a Digital Media Assistant, I’ve become more involved every year. Throughout the year and different sports seasons, my role was to assist in every aspect of content production from taking headshots and power poses of the athletes, filming and producing live games, designing posters, and editing season-long highlight videos. I had an amazing opportunity to experience the ins and outs of working in a fast paced sports industry.

Republic of Korea Airforce

MULTIMEDIA SPECIALIST

I served in the Republic of Korea Air Force from October 2019 to August 2021. I was stationed at the Public Affairs Office, 10th Fighter Wing. My main duties included photographing military exercises, designing promotional posters, and creating engaging educational videos. I also led and managed a team of four draftees, scheduling and distributing tasks in order to support the officers.

Unfortunately I was not able to keep most of my work due to confidentiality, but below are a few I was able to take home with.

MEDIA MANAGER

Working directly with the media admin, I was in charge of managing a team of 4~6, distributing workload, and finding the best possible workflow. Our duties included delivering a weekly recap video, photographing and printing pictures of 300+ kids, sorting and archiving thousands of pictures, and posting daily instagram posts.
